Nigella’s Devil’s Food Cake is heaven on a plate for lovers of chocolate

I have three of Nigella Lawson’s books on my kitchen shelf. The television gourmet and self-confessed chocolate fanatic is my go-to person whenever I feel the need to create something cocoa-infused and gorgeous. This weekend, I tried her Devil’s Food Cake for the first time.

The result? In a word: AWESOME! It’s dark and rich and just sweet enough to remind you that it’s a cake. It’s indulgent, though. Real butter and lots of chocolate… This is definitely not diet food! But it’s so good. You can find the recipe on Nigella’s website.

“The proof is in the pudding,” according to the saying. The proof in my house? I made this cake on Saturday. Today is Sunday and there is one slice left. I’m going to eat it now!
